St Michael’s Christmas Fair is on Saturday (30th November) from 11.00 until 4.00. Arrangements this year are a bit hand-to-mouth as the electricians have only just moved out after two months – but do encourage people to come.
We have All Age Worship on Sunday (1st December) at 11.00. We will not literally be beating swords into ploughshares (more the pity) but we shall be exploring he theme and creating a Christmas tree with a difference
Churches Together has its annual reflective Advent Sunday Service in the afternoon at 3.45, this year at St James, Cross Roads. This service always begins at sunset with the lighting of the first evening lamp; a time to rest before the final Christmas rush.
We are decorating St Michael’s the following Wednesday (4th December) from 10.00 until 12.00 so any extra able bodies would be most welcome for this as well.
