Among the things coming up in January and February.
The annual shuffle of preachers between churches in the parish on Sunday 19th January. The Revd David McAloon (local Methodist Minister) preaches at St Gabriel’s at 9.30 and Fr Dennis Cassidy (local Catholic Parish Priest) preaches at St Michael’s at 11.00 on Sunday 19 January. Our Rector will be preaching at West Lane Methodist Church and our Curate at West Lane Baptist Church that day.
The band Gerry and the Hatricks returning to St Michael’s for another concert on Saturday 15 February. They will be showcasing some 1920s music they have been developing to celebrate the beginning of the 2020s.
A Half Term Holiday Club for Primary School age children on the mornings Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 18, 19 and 20 February. It is called Wonder Zone – an exploration of God’s creation. This is being planned and put on by the local churches working together and will take place at West Lane Methodist Church.
