Holy Week and Easter

Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 15, 16 and 17 April

There are opportunities to pray each day in Holy Week at different times, in different ways and in different places:

Monday 7.30 p.m. – ‘Stations of the Cross’ at St James’;

Tuesday 2.00 p.m. – Prayers led quietly for half an hour at St Michael’s;

Wednesday 9.30 a.m. – the weekly Wednesday Communion at St James’

Thursday 18 April – Maundy Thursday

Please do share today in commemorating the Last Supper and Jesus’ betrayal, whether informally or formally:

6.00 p.m. – The Last Supper as a Passover Meal at St Michael’s;

7.30 p.m. – The Last Supper as Communion at St James’.

Friday 19 April – Good Friday

Please do share today in commemorating the Cross.  Each church and each time of day has an opportunity:

9.00 a.m. – Prayers led quietly for half an hour at St Gabriel’s;

2.00 p.m. – ‘The Last Hour’ marked at St Michael’s;

6.00 p.m. – Friday Church’s presentation at St James’.

Saturday 20 April – Holy Saturday

Nothing happens today.  We wait in desolation; God will act tomorrow.

Sunday 21 April – Easter Day

9.30 a.m. – Celebration Communion at St Gabriel’s;

9.30 a.m. – Celebration Communion at St James’;

11.00 a.m. – Celebration Communion at St Michael’s;
