Nativity walk success

The magic of the Nativity story returned to Main Street again last weekend. On both Saturday and Sunday Haworth’s ‘Churches Together’ walk attracted crowds and re-introduced the Christian message of Christ’s birth in the final run up to the annual celebrations. Superbly narrated by Rev. Chris Upton the story unfolded as Mary sitting on one of two donkeys followed Joseph up Main Street looking for ‘some room at an inn’. And as usual they were out of luck. Our Rector Rev. Peter Mullins led the procession with an impressive version of the star that rose in the east.
