Walking together with Jesus

Holy Week Walks

Meeting at the top of the church steps (onto Haworth Main Street), we will share a short prayer and reflection moment then walk up to Penistone trig point together. At the top we will pause again to reflect on part of the Easter story, before walking back down together.

You will need to wear appropriate footwear plus coat if cold/wet, hat if sunny (hopefully!). No age restriction, but children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. We don’t expect this to be a challenging walk, but please be aware that there are some muddy sections and difficult terrain.

2:30-4pm, leaving from and returning to the church steps (Haworth Main Street, BD22 8DR), on Sunday 24th, Friday 29th and Sunday 31st March.

Soul Craft

Drawing, writing, walking, praying, painting, reading, knitting, crafting, running, colouring… Whatever you like to do, bring it.

We will frame our time with a simple Bible reflection, and invite you to use St. Gabriel’s as a base for creativity and exploring the beautiful surroundings for the afternoon – with tables set up inside for getting creative, and plenty of space to relax and explore in, out and around. Refreshments provided.

Suitable for all ages, but children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Tuesday 26th, 1-4pm, St Gabriel’s, Stanbury, (Main Street, BD22 0HB). No charge.

Easter Craft Morning

A free arts and craft morning to celebrate Easter together. Cutting, sticking, colouring, painting, making. Drop in for Easter fun! Refreshments provided. No charge (donations welcome).

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Friday 29th, 9:30-11:30am, St James’s, Cross Roads, (Albion Street, BD22 9EB).
