The passageway between Main Street and Church Street (the one running between the Church’s north wall and 121 Main Street as pictured) will be temporarily be closed during January.
The closure is necessary to enable scaffolding to be erected in the passageway to undertake the repair and restoration of the roof at 121 Main Street.
The Church has been told that the works will commence on Saturday, 7th January 2023 and are scheduled to be completed by the end of the month.
As with any outside work undertaken at this time of year any inclement weather conditions could impact on the work schedule and this will have to be borne in mind.
Haworth Parish Church apologises for any inconvenience this may cause. The repair and restoration has been been undertaken in January on the grounds that it would reduce the impact on both residents and visitors to Haworth.
