This is just to say we are hugely grateful for those who continue to give regularly to our two parishes by Standing Order. Also to those who usually give by cash in weekly envelopes but who have very recently either posted us cheques or set up Standing Orders instead. (We could supply details to any others who wished to have them!)
Most sources of church income have dried up – from rent on the hall at Cross Roads to tourist donations at Haworth. So it is the continued committed participation weekly or monthly in the ‘Planned Giving Scheme’ (which normally represents about 30-35% of annual income across the two parishes) which is helping us meet the immediate bills which still come in.
