What is happening in June

Saturday 8th June

11.30 – Annual Brontë Society Service, at St Michael’s, Haworth; open to all; our thanks to them for the new sign at the foot of the church steps.

Monday 10th June

Work begins on of replastering small areas damaged by damp in the past, at St Michael’s, Haworth; almost no disruption anticipated to the use of the church.

Saturday 15th June

9.30 – Odd Jobs Working Party, at St Michael’s, Haworth; help very welcome!

Tuesday 18th June

11.00 – Second meeting of the new Bible Study for our parishes, at St James’, Cross Roads.

Wednesday 19th June

End of the one month public notice period as we apply for permission to rewire and introduce a new lighting scheme at St Michael’s, Haworth.

Friday 21st June

6.30 – Meal cooked by the Youth Group raising money for Manorlands Hospice, at St James’, Cross Roads; tickets from Julie Roberts on 645102.

Saturday 29th June

3.00 – Ordination (including Anthony Bennett, to be Curate in our parishes) at Wakefield Cathedral – there may be some spare tickets, so do ask.
