As we approach summer and some of us prepare for day trips or holidays we might have space to reflect on how we are doing on the big journey of life.
As a family of churches we have another Pilgrim group gathering again on Tuesday evenings – this time looking at the Beatitudes and the amazing vision of life that Jesus paints in this short and beautiful teaching.
Pilgrim has been a great space for many people to meet with a few others, to read the Bible together, talk, listen, reflect, pray – exploring and growing in faith and life together as fellow travellers.
In September we plan to offer another opportunity for this, and will be running The Bible Course (from The Bible Society) which will be an excellent chance for anyone who is curious to learn more about what the Bible is, what the Bible story is, how we find that played out through the long history and many voices, and how these ancient texts can still speak to us today.
Whether it is in small groups, in our worship gatherings, or one-to-one over a cup of tea at home, God brings us together so that we can share the journey. Learning, growing, moving on, sharing the load, celebrating and mourning together, praying for and with one another, inspiring and encouraging one another…
May the road rise to greet you
May the wind be ever on your back
And until we meet again
May God hold you in the palm of His hand

Giving and Generosity
Most of the budgeted spending that allows us to be present and active as a church community comes from regular giving from church members and supporters. Thank you to everyone who contributes to this! If you would like to find out more about giving, including regular giving through direct debit or volunteering opportunities, then please get in touch for a conversation.
Listening and Caring
We have people who would be happy to listen and pray with you. Please ask whoever has been leading the service today, or contact Oli via the web site contact form.
